Leadership Can Make the Difference for Students with Disabilities
Closing achievement gaps for special education students requires principals to be instructional leaders. They must become better informed about new research, effective interventions, and inclusive learning environments for students with disabilities.
Research has shown that principals can implement several leadership strategies that improve learning for students with disabilities:
