The Principal as Driver of Change

    Screen 1 of 4

This unit introduces the role of the school principal as a leader, designer, and driver of the improvements needed to bring all students to high levels of achievement. This unit is designed to teach participants how to evaluate the risks involved in change, lead improvement efforts, and manage them. It emphasizes an understanding of the change process, strategies for achieving sustainable improvements, and decision-making processes to achieve change.

Here you will learn how to analyze the motivations of the various participants in the process, to identify friends and foes, and over time, to maximize the former and win over the latter, moving steadily from small wins to substantial gains.
